Early Betty was a woman of wistful ‘philosophy’ strolling through various landscapes and streets.
She is sometimes accompanied by such eminent persons as Elizabeth1st or Einstein!
Betty, was more stick like originally. Her appearance has evolved over time and it was when I returned to settle in Ireland that I began to draw Betty more regularly teaming up with Marge.
Some are illustrations of old jokes and puns… others are ideas that just come to me. Betty and Marge led to a few other characters…such as the Haz Beanz, Jus’ Joe and others.
